Welcome back to our weekly Universal Studios Hollywood update! In this update we have some info on lots of projects as well as a treat from Epic Universe making its way over to the West Coast!
Security Check In
This week at the security hubs we have foundations going vertical at the former IFLY site and more progress in the central hub!

And here is the site plan for each hub!

This was created by Zach from ParkFans and he switched the East and West Hubs. This project should be done by the time the Fast & Furious coaster opens in February 2026. Speaking of that coaster let’s see the latest look..
Fast & Furious Coaster
The pull through test is going very well and should wrap up this week!

We have our first sign of landscaping with a palm tree installed in the queue.

And in the extended queue we have brickwork and supports for the eventual shade structures installed.

Events Space
The Mummy Wall and new events space are zooming they made it to the ground floor and already installed several cages of rebar for the eventual concrete pour!

It’s been so impressive watching them work seven days a week on this project for the past few months.
Mystery Simpsons Project
Over by the Simpsons more and more trees continue to be tagged with different colors.
There are also some new markers around the sides of the building itself.

You can check out our recent video on what may be happening in this area here.
Citywalk Updates
Over at citywalk the NBA store got some signage and props put out!

And Mr. BBQ fancified their construction walls are work continues quickly on that new restaurant.

Lastly, Raising Canes still has tons of materials out on the patio ready for installation.

This & That
A new treat from Epic Universe has made its way to Hollywood! The very popular Mac & Cheese cones are now available at City Snacks in the Upper Lot.

There are three different flavors including the Classic Mac & Cheese, Dragon Fire Chicken Spice and Brisket Mac & Cheese.

We took the Studio Tour and saw them setting up to film the final scenes of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey in Falls Lake.

And that’s going to do it for this week’s update! Are you excited about the rapid progress of all the projects at the park? Will you be trying a Mac and Cheese cone? If so, what flavor? Will you be seeing The Odyssey in theaters next year? Let us know your answers to all those in the comments and have a great week!
