This week at Universal Studios Hollywood we have new projects starting and portions of projects opening so let’s jump right into it!
New Tech Services Building
Over on the Z lot, fencing has gone up for the new tech services building slated to be done in 2027. This project will take about 18 months, so by that timeline it should roughly open around March 2027.

The current Tech Services building which is behind the future East security hub will be demolished to make way for future property enhancements.
Citywalk Updates
The new bathrooms at Citywalk are coming along and Raising Canes has a couple of new foundations for steel beams.

Not sure when either of those are supposed to open but I’m hoping very soon at least for the restrooms.
Fast & Furious
Over at the Fast & Furious coaster, we have tons of new panels up at the sound wall and the restrooms are now open. For a full look at the restrooms you can check out my TikTok.

What do you think of the tree type panels on the sound wall? I do wish they would use variations of trees and cityscapes on the other parts of the wall but we shall see.
The restrooms are not as themed as Nintendo or Potter, but they do have a slight generic brick theme. They are a decent size though with plenty of stalls and sinks and should help relieve pressure of the restrooms in Minion Land and Potter.
Security Hubs
The central and east security hubs look just about as we left them last week with the central foundations ready to be poured and a new structure on the east hub ready to continue to be built out.

And that’s going to do it for this quick update this week. What do you think of all the projects going on? Let us know in the comments below and make sure to post your own updates and get into the discussion on our brand new discussion forums!
