Well it is October and it is the beginning of the new fiscal year for the Walt Disney Company. That also means it’s time for the annual price increase and thanks to our pal Scott Gustin we have a nice chart that compares the old price with the new one.
The interesting thing this year is that the prices aren’t as steep as previous years. Nevertheless the Tier 6 ticket went up $18 to $224 and with the park hopper and lightning lane added on to that, you’re looking at over $300 for that ticket per person for one day.
Tier 0 days stayed at $104 and the number of Tier 0 days will increase to over 40 next year compared 26 this year. Lightning Lane jumped $2 to $34 starting price (higher on Tier 6 days) while parking broke the $40 threshold.
Magic Keys went up only for the top two keys by $100-$150. This puts the Inspire Key at $1900 and there’s a very high chance that will cross $2000 next year. Keep in mind the Inspire Key still has blackout dates and you still had to make reservations, so this actually might make the Believe Key the best overall Magic Key. The Believe Key only got a $100 increase to $1474 and you still get half off on parking. Unfortunately the top two keys are not available for purchase at this time and only the bottom two keys are available.
