New photos sent to us show new construction markers popping up for the upcoming grading project in the Pyscho Pass area of the backlot.

This photo taken from the Terror Tram at Halloween Horror Nights show us a white excavation marker adjacent to the Pyscho House. This could spell doom for the house as it seems it’s directly in the way of the new grading project.
Universal has resisted many sets around the backlot before and we are inclined to believe they would just move the house to a different location, but they have also completely dismantled sets on the tour as well so we shall see what the fate of the house holds on the Universal lot.

These other construction markers were found directly on the Studio Tour route in front of the War of the Worlds sets. These sets are massive and take up a large amount of space so we would expect these to be fully dismantled and not relocated on the lot.
What’s next for this area? Well we don’t officially know yet, but we have some educated guesses. If we were to use the semi updated Evolution Plan as a guide map then that would suggest a new studio building would go here that would encompass the prop, lighting, and costuming departments. This is our leading theory so far.
The second and least likely (for now) theory is that many has speculated about a potential expansion into Falls Lake and that area is right next to this area, so it is worth watching to see if any markers do pop up in the Falls Lake area when this Pyscho Pass Grading Project is done.
As we have stated before, we expect this grading project to quickly commence in November after Halloween Horror Nights is done and they start to dismantle the terror tram and likely War of The Worlds and possibly relocate the Pyscho House with it.
