After an unfortunate passing and multiple lawsuits, Stardust Racers is set to return to the Epic Universe lineup on October 4th.
Stardust Racers has been closed since the evening of September 17th when Kevin Rodriguez Zavala was found unresponsive when the coaster train returned to the station.
Since then, the coaster has been closed and undergoing state and manufacturer Inspections and investigations which it has since passed. Kevin’s family hired attorney Ben Crump in a lawful suit against Universal and he suggests that the ride is not safe. Since then multiple people have come out and said they have gotten injured on the coaster and Universal settled with at least one woman.
According to a team member email, the coaster is expected to reopen tomorrow afternoon.
