Universal has officially announced all the new lands coming to their Universal Kids Resort in Frisco, Texas an even teased some of the new attractions as well.
This resort is 35 acres and includes a 300 room hotel and is geared for children aged 2-12 years old.
Let’s go land by land and break down each name and attraction.
Shrek’s Swamp
Even though Frisco’s city council won’t allow dark rides with large showbuildings in this park, Universal has made an outdoor dark ride of sorts with Shrek’s Happily Orge After. No details were given on this new attraction but this will be the only Shrek ride in the United States when this opens in 2026.
Elsewhere in the swamp will be plenty of play areas and meet and greet opportunities with the characters of the original Shrek franchise. The Puss N Boots characters will be featured in their own land next door.
Puss N Boots: Del Mar
Del Mar will feature a chair swing ride named Swings Over Del Mar. There will also be a puppet show, carnival games, and a sensory garden. You will be able to meet Puss In Boots, Mama Luna, and Perrito in the land as well.
Gabby’s Dollhouse
Gabby’s Dollhouse will be a miniland of sorts only consisting of a meet and greet with Gabby as well as store and snack stand.
TrollsFest
Hang out with Poppy and friends in this all new Trolls land. This land will feature tons of music all around as well as dance parties, the TrollsFest Express rollercoaster and many interactive play areas and sensory gardens. You can get a makeover at Sparkle Shine Glitter Glow.
Bikini Bottom
Venture into Bikini Bottom once again as the franchise comes back to Universal in a big way with its largest land yet in a Universal park. Due to contract issues, the previous Krusty Krab dining expierence was cut , but you will be able to go to boating school with Mrs. Puff and meet many of the residents of Bikini Bottom! There will be plenty of interactive play areas and sensory gardens as well.
Minions vs Minions
It’s yellow minions versus purple minions in this land! Universal describes this land as water soaked fun so there will be plenty of water based interactive play areas and you’ll find the parks marquee attraction here which is a river raft adventure and of course you’ll be able to meet plenty of the minions themselves.
Jurassic World Adventure Camp
Lastly, young explorers can go explore Jurassic World Adventure Camp! You’ll be able to meet Baby Tango, whom is a baby raptor, as well as explore playgrounds themed to Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous.

Those are all of the lands and attractions that Universal has revealed so far about Universal Kids, but there is much more to come before the park opens in 2026!
