Welcome back to another week as we zoom through the summer time! This week we have new info on the security hubs, more walls around various projects and a mysterious update at the mystery project behind The Simpsons Ride, so let’s dive right in and get started!
Security Hub Check In

So this week I learned that this will be an elevated platform. The area in black will eventually be covered up and it will form a raised platform.
On the left hand side there will be an ADA ramp to take passengers from the newly located shuttle stop up to the security platform.
Citywalk Updates
Moving on to the rest of citywalk, the NBA store and Mr. BBQ got new construction walls.

Over at Raising Canes, lots of equipment is stored on the patio.

Now that we’ve wrapped up with citywalk keys he’s inside the theme park!

It was a decently busy day on this Saturday with waits ranging from 25-120 minutes. The summer crowds are here to stay until Fall so be prepared if you’re planning to go to the park over the next few weeks.

The Monstrous 3 marquee is up and this facade is just about done!
Fast & Furious Pull Through Test
The coaster car is moving through the course of the Fast & Furious roller coaster and by the end of the month it should be finished with its pull through test.

White pipes have been installed on the supports and those will be the electrical support for the drive tires and launches.

Almost all of the steel of the sound wall has been installed and we should see the material itself installed shortly after.

Work continues on the exterior queue of the coaster with a machine doing some ground work in the center of this photo.
Mystery Project Getting More Mysterious
So this week at the new project behind The Simpsons we noticed a new to us green marker. This represents a utility relocation or construction and it’s in the same general area as the taped trees and the POINT C survey marker.

We still don’t know what this project is but we are watching every single week for more changes. There have still been no permits that point to what may be going on here.
Events Space/Retaining Wall
Over at the Mummy Wall crews have officially reached the ground floor of demolishing the hillside!

It is awesome to see that incident from last week didn’t delay them at all and they are still working seven days a week to get this thing done and the bottom portion ready for Horror Nights crowds.
